Summary
Wild Onion Bistro & Bar is the culinary heartbeat of Hotel Citrine, but with a voice and soul all its own. Rooted in California’s seasonal abundance and a deep respect for land and community, Wild Onion delivers more than a meal: it offers a grounded, sensory experience where creativity meets authenticity. Through a multi-month partnership, I led the creative strategy to shape and express the bistro’s distinct identity across organic social media.
Brief
I developed a visual and tonal direction that reflected Wild Onion’s values, eclectic yet grounded, elevated but unpretentious. Through curated content, chef-driven stories, and seasonal storytelling, we introduced the bistro as a true neighborhood gem: inspired by nature, driven by flavor, and designed to connect.
Results
Through consistent storytelling and thoughtful design, Wild Onion evolved from a dormant account into a fully expressed brand with a clear tone of voice and visual identity.
The project succeeded in building the foundational brand world needed for long-term growth, something both the internal team and guests recognized and appreciated. The bistro now has the visual and narrative tools to deepen its presence, both as part of Hotel Citrine and as a standalone destination for local food lovers.
