ABOUT THE WORK

Square Papercut is a minimalist geometric paper artwork exploring depth, light, and perception through precise CNC-cut forms. Framed in a floating glass frame, the piece exists between object and environment, allowing light and shadow to become an active part of the work.

The artwork is mounted between two panes of glass and held within a floating frame with no backing. This open structure allows the wall behind the piece to remain visible, creating layered shadows that shift throughout the day depending on where the artwork is hung and how light enters the space. As natural or artificial light changes, the composition subtly transforms, making each viewing experience unique.

Cut from archival paper, this piece emphasizes negative space, softness, and architectural clarity. It pairs beautifully with modern, minimalist, Japandi, or Scandinavian interiors and works especially well in spaces where light moves naturally, such as living rooms, bedrooms, hallways, or creative studios.

This artwork arrives fully framed and ready to hang. The floating construction encourages an interactive relationship with its surroundings, making it a quietly dynamic statement piece that continues to evolve over time.
